We are located at 316 East 165th Street between Teller and Findlay Avenues.
There are 624 students at FLACS Middle School and 8 homerooms on each grade level. 
School starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Scholars may arrive as early as 7:00 a.m. for breakfast. 
Yes! FLACS is a uniform school. Scholars have to wear their uniforms every day to school.
No, all of our scholars stay in the building for lunch. Scholars may choose to eat our free, healthy breakfast and lunches, which are nut-free and pork-free or may bring a meal from home.
Yes, FLACS Middle School scholars will have access to assigned lockers for their personal belongings.
No! Scholars cannot have their telephones with them during the school day. Phones must be turned off and stored for the day. If a scholar needs to contact a parent, they may use the school phones and if a family needs to contact their scholar they may use the main phone line.
Scholars who live more than a half-mile from our schools are eligible for transportation to school. School bussing or MetroCards are provided to our scholars by the NYC DOE Office of Pupil Transportation. Once you are registered at the school, you will be notified if the child is eligible for transportation and what type of transportation. 
There are no bussing services for grades 7 and 8 across all NYC schools. Scholars will receive a MetroCard if they live more than one-half mile from the school.
